Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry

This week’s photo challenge is all about geometry, and I can’t think of anything where geometry is more important than in the construction of suspension bridges. There is only one suspension bridge in Cork city, an old foot-bridge known locally as The Shaky Bridge. It was built in 1927, connecting Fitzgerald Park to the Sunday Well Road.

I love this photo of this bridge as not only does it show the cables holding up the bridge but also the shadows cast by the structure itself.
